Disciplinary Procedure

Any Complaints of misconduct should, wherever possible, be dealt with informally by consultation between the student(s) and the appropriate staff concerned.  Informal counselling may form part of the procedure and, conducted at an early stage, may help prevent the escalation of a problem into a formal disciplinary matter. At early stage the decision will be:

1st Verbal Warning

2nd Verbal Warning

The formal procedures should only be invoked where informal action has failed or is considered inappropriate. The decision will be:

1st Written Warning 

(If you are an overseas student on a Work Based Learning programme, a copy of the letter will be sent to your employer.)

2nd Final Written Warning

(If you are an overseas student on a Work Based Learning programme, a copy of the letter will be sent to your employer.)

3rd Suspension

(If you are an overseas student on a Work Based Learning programme, a copy of the letter will be sent to your employer.)

4th Termination

(If you are an overseas student on a Work Based Learning program, a copy of the letter will be sent to your employer.)
